Flood Recovery Support Service Program
The Flood Recovery Support Service provides holistic support tailored to the:

- Situation
- Role in the community
The Flood RSS provides a single, consistent, and trusted point of contact through a Recovery Support Worker who can:
- Walk alongside, acknowledging and addressing challlenges, while respecting individual strengths, recovery choices and preferences
- Help to connect with local community resources
- Provide support by phone, at our Ballina Office, temporary housing and in the community.
We can assist with flood recovery problems and needs including:
- Personal Support (care and comfort)
- Help with applying for housing and for financial assistance
- Counselling (mental health, smoking cessation, gambling, alcohol and drug problems, domestic violence, parenting, grief and loss, support and advice)
- Finding and linking you with other services if needed
- Emergency food
- Social and emotional wellbeing activities and groups
